Passionate about Jesus and User Experience Design.
A little bit about me.
MY BACKGROUND:
Passionate about Jesus and User Experience Design.
With 10+ years experience in healthcare and a business administration degree, I bring a unique perspective to UX design. By combining operational excellence and customer-centric strategies to drive growth and retention, I help organizations meet their goals. Drawing from diverse experiences as an optometry manager, Bible teacher, and church counselor, I empathize with people in order to empower them to accomplish their goals through UX design. My journey into UX began in 2020, where I played a pivotal role in creating a new website for my local church.
MY STORY:
How God led me to UX design.
My journey into UX unfolded amidst the unprecedented circumstances of the 2020 Covid lockdown. During that period, I worked as an intern at a local church, helping them bolster their online presence. The task at hand involved the creation of a website that fosters community engagement through learning cohorts. Though the team and I weren't explicitly versed in UX principles or design thinking, an innate sense of guidance led us through the project. As we delved into the process of UX design—empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing—I found myself seamlessly navigating the intricacies of the discipline. Grounded in research into online learning platforms and informed by insightful interviews with organization members and stakeholders, I shaped a cohesive information architecture, user flow, and interaction elements. This experience marked my entry into the dynamic and impactful world of UX, where crafting digital experiences became a passion.
MY PROCESS:
Preparing the way for transformative experiences.
I follow a process aimed at facilitating transformative faith experiences. First, I immerse myself in discovery, unraveling the intricacies of user problems. Next comes the defining moment, where empathy intertwines with creativity, birthing UX ideas. Then, I step into the realm of design, crafting ideas into user-centric experiences. But the commitment doesn’t end there. I deliver, evaluating the impact, and seamlessly loop back into the process, each iteration refining the pathway for transformative encounters. It’s not just design; it’s creating experiences that resonate with one’s soul.
